Leave Monitoring System in VB.Net and Bunifu Frameworks with Source Code

Leave Monitoring System is a software-based system that is made of VB.NET, MySQL database, and Bunifu Frameworks to make the user interface flat-based and animated. The main goal is to manage all employee information in just a breeze. This system provides transparency and increases employee satisfaction. It’s very important to have a well-automated leave monitoring system if you have a small company because it’s very useful in handling the leaves and absences of your employees due to sickness vacations or any other reasons. This contains Report, so the admin can view the leave of absence made by the employee within a certain month.

How to Run

Requirements: Download and install the following:

XAMPP Latest Version

MySQL Connector

MySQL Odbc

Microsoft Visual Studio 2015 or later versions (recently tested using VS 2019 Community)

Bunifu Frameworks

SAP Crystal Reports

Installation/Setup

Download and Extract the provided source code zip file. (download button is located below)

Open your XAMPP's Control Panel and start the "Apache" and "MySQL".

Locate the provided SQL database file in the source code folder. The file is known as "db_leave.sql".

Open a browser and browse the PHPMyAdmin. i.e. http://localhost/phpmyadmin

Create a new database naming "db_leave".

Import the SQL file in your newly created database.

Locate the Solution file in the extracted source code folder. The file is known as "LeaveMonitoringSystem.sln"

Open the solution file with your MS Visual Studion Software.

Press the "F5" key on your keyboard to run this Leave Monitoring System

Access this system using the admin accounts:

Username: admin

Password: admin
