Hotel Room Reservation System using VB.NET with Source Code

This is a Hotel Room Reservation System project that was developed using VB.NET. This system helps a certain Hotel to manage their Guest's Reservation and Check-In/Out transactions. This system may help new programmers to develop their skills in VB.NET and SQL Database. The system has a pleasant user-interface and user-friendly functionalities.

How it Works

First, the system user must populate fist the list of Rooms and Guests in the system. After that, to reserve or check-in a guest, the system user will click the Lodging Form Navigation to show the Lodging form. To check out the guest, the user will navigate to the Lodged List and select the row of the checked-in guest he/she will check out. Then by clicking the Checkout button located at the upper right of the window, the selected guest will be successfully checked out.

How to Run

Requirements

Download and Install Microsoft Visual Studio Software.

Download and Install Microsoft SQL Express Server Software.

Download the provided source code zip file. (download button is located below)

Installation/Setup

Extract the downloaded source code file.

Locate the solution file inside the extracted source code folder. The solution file is known as "ABIA_INVENTORY.sln".

Open the solution file with your MS Visual Studio Software.

Press the "F5" key on your keyboard to run the project.
