Hotel Management System in VB.Net Integrated with Bunifu Framework and MySQL Database with Source Code

This Hotel Management System is a software-based system that is made of VB.NET, MySQL Database, and Bunifu Framework to make the design animated. The main goal of the system is to help properly manage the hotel operations and functions to optimize them for greater stability and more profit. It contains a feature that allows guests to check-in and chooses a room that is available. It also has a billing function that can be issued receipts to the guests after they do the payment. This is a user-friendly system that the staff or admin of the hotel can easily use the functions to provide quality and standard services to the guests that stay in the Hotel. The system also has a reservation feature which allows the management to record the reservations of their guest to easily check in them.

How to Run

Requirements:

Download and Install XAMPP

Download and Install Microsft Visual Studio 2015 or newer versions.

Download and Install mysql-connector-net

Download and Install mysql-connector-odbc

Download and Install Bunifu FrameWork

Download and Install SAP Crystal Reports.

Installation/Setup

Download and Extract the provided source code zip file. (download button is located below)

Locate the SQL File inside the extracted source code folder. The file is known as "db_hotelmanagement.sql".

Open your XAMPP's Control Panel and Start the "MySQL" Server.

Import/Dump the provided SQL file. If you want to use the XAMPP's PHPMyAdmin in importing the SQL file, make sure to start also the "Apache" in the Control Panel of XAMPP.

Locate the solution file in the extracted source code folder. The solution file is known as "HotelManagementSystem.sln".

Open the solution file with your MS Visual Studio Software.

Configure the database connection string at the "includes/connection.vb".

Press the "F5" key on the keyboard to run the project.
